Let George Do It starred Bob Bailey (Yours Truly Johnny Dollar) as George Valentine a private detective who received his cases like Dan Holiday/Alan Ladd on Box 13 form placing a newspaper ad. "Personal Notice- Danger's my stocking trade. If a job's too tough for you to handle, you've got a job for me, George Valentine." Running from October of 1946 until September 1954 on the MBS, it showcased Bailey's skills as an intelligent detective who relied on his brains not his brawn. Bailey would follow his run on this show on YTJD and was considered the best Dollar on the series long run.
